Eaton Canyon Natural Area. One of the most popular hikes in the Los Angeles area, you can hike to the waterfall in just under 2 hours. The waterfall is stunning and the hike is beautiful, so get there early and spend a morning in nature.
Arlington Garden. Founded in 2005, it was formerly the site of the Durand Mansion (the largest mansion in Southern California) when the house was razed in 1962. It is now home to hundreds of trees, native and drought tolerant Mediterranean climate appropriate plants.

Huntington Library, Art Museum, & Botanical Gardens. The Huntington as locals call it is one of the most spectacular gardens, museums, and library you’ll ever experience. Encompassing about 120 acres, the botanical gardens feature 16 stunning themed gardens including Camelia, Children’s, Jungle, Rose and Shakespeare. Bring your walking shoes and spend a leisurely day on the expansive property.
