Trends To Try This Fall and Winter
September was all about fashion and as the month wrapped up the hottest trends flooded our Instagram feed. We love a good fashion moment, so we screenshot the hottest trends for fall and winter 2019/2020.
Move over 90’s babies, the 80’s are back but with bigger and better shoulder pads. The bolstered shoulder was seen all over the runaways from Paris to Milan and on catwalks like Balenciaga and Saint Laurent. Shoulder pads are appearing in over-sized blazers, jackets, sweaters and dresses. Glitter was all the rage in the 80’s and we’re so glad it’s back! Joie’s new holiday collection has all. the. glitter. Shop gorgeous pieces like this flowy skirt (that has a dash of the 90’s) and matching top. If you’re a little more daring we love this sheer number.
Anything cozy and stylish is a win-win in our book. You can rock the cozy vibe with basically anything (including handbags). We love this coat by Vince with shearling details or this plush hoodie you’ll probably want to wear every day. For more of a teddy vibe, GAP has this plush sherpa coat that any blogger would be jealous of.
The over-sized look is here to stay! Over-sized pants, shoulders and sleeves were seen all over the runaway. We love these trousers from OSKA that are perfect for when you want to be comfy and trez stylish. And you can’t go wrong with this gorg balloon sleeve top from Joie, which will be a go-to in your closet all fall. As for the sweaters, GAP has this amazing puff sleeve sweater that comes in a variety of colors.
Blazers are a wardrobe staple and you can take it up notch with this plaid blazer from Anthropologie. It’s all about a party in the front and business in the back. Pair it with a pair of jeans and a graphic tee, or mix it up with your work wardrobe.
Boots are always on trend in the cool months, and in the upcoming seasons try animal printed boots or booties with faux snakeskin or croc (check out these tall boots and booties). You also can’t go wrong with classics like patent leather or suede.
