Event Details

To power their hometown of Monstropolis, employees of the professional scare factory Monsters Incorporated must terrify children into eliciting the screams that serve as the municipality’s fuel source. Big, blue and hairy, James P. “Sulley” Sullivan (John Goodman) and his one-eyed pal Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) are the best of the best “scarers” when it comes to making the young ones shriek. But energy production has been waning as kids are becoming less afraid of things that go bump in the night, including Sulley and Mike. Their world is further complicated when a little girl, Boo, finds her way from the human world into the factory. Released in 2001, this Pixar animated favorite was the third highest-grossing film in 2001, winning the Academy Award for Best Original Song “If I Didn’t Have You.”

All courtyard screening start at 8:30p. We will have Silent Disco headsets available (first-come first-served), and you’ll need to turn in your Cal Driver’s License for their use (which, of course, you get back when we get our headsets back). iPic is handing out popcorn (while supplies last) and Sugarfina will be selling treats.

We are also serving up the perfect movie night trifecta – movie, drink and dinner! The Kind Sage (Friday’s) and Il Fornaio (Saturday’s) will have a pop-up bar for some pre-film libations. Il Fornaio is also offering a bene dinner deal – choice of one pizza (pepperoni or Margherita), two bags of popcorn and two cans of soda. We provide some courtyard seating, but bring along a blanket if you prefer a picnic style dinner.
