October was scary fun at One Colorado with our Sunday Funday Photo Booth Party, annual Pumpkin Decorating, Trick-or-Treating & live music every Saturday night.
Sunday Funday – Craft & Snap Photo Booth Party (10/12)
Guests crafted accoutrement and/or chose from our top-notch prop table to stage their tableau, and then hopped into the Magbooth to immortalize the moment. The photos were too cute, and way more fun than selfies. Accompanying the afternoon was music from our DJ friend Glenn Red and (really) delicious Front Porch Pops artisan popsicles.
Annual Pumpkin Decorating (10/25) and Halloween Trick-or-Treating (10/31)
Our balcony was brimming with little boys and ghouls getting busy with the glitter glue, feathers and pipe cleaners at our annual pumpkin decorating event! Everyone seemed happy as pumpkin pie, and the biggest treat was getting to take home their Halloween creations.
There were some super darling, costumed cuties trotting around at this year’s One Colorado’s store-to-store trick-or-treating! And our family portrait photographer snapped hundreds of free pix of our visiting Halloween pals. Towards the end of the night we screened the 1967 classic Rankin/Bass romp Mad Monster Party? featuring a groovy ghoulies gathering on Dr. Frankenstein’s Island of Evil. Spooktacular, Darling!
Saturday Night Music
October’s Saturday Night Music concerts featured an array of sounds from soul-hip-hop-jazz-funk; musical saws and Euro, Gypsy, hot French jazz eclecticism; analog synths and electronic indie pop; plus jaunty love songs and Canadian rock stardom. Lineup included Jimetta Rose, Fishtank Ensemble, Say Say and Andrew Allen (our transplanted Canadian Pop Star friend).
