CoreGiving is dedicated to hosting multiple annual programs that activate Perform properties and partner networks to inspire fundraising, raise awareness for how hunger affects U.S. children, and volunteer time to serve communities. Learn MoreWe’ve Got the Sustainability Buzz!We’re excited to announce our new un-bee-leviable tenants at One Colorado.As we strive towards our sustainability goals and impact on the environment, we continue to expand on our robust sustainability program to make our properties more efficient and reduce the impact we have on our surrounding environment.The One Colorado bees have been buzzy pollinating the local BEE-utiful flora and playing a crucial role in our food system. According to the United Nations Environment Program, of the 100 crop varieties that provide 90% of the world’s food, 71 are pollinated by bees. In North America, honeybees alone pollinate nearly 95 kinds of fruits, such as almonds, avocados, cranberries, and apples, in addition to commodity crops like soy.In addition to hosting honeybee hives at One Colorado, this project will provide education-based workshops for the community to enjoy. The workshops will focus on the importance of pollinators, using the honeybee as our guide. We invite you to follow along on the hives progress online through our dedicated MYHIVE page, participate in workshops, or share the extra sweet perks that come with it, such as enjoying hyper-local honey from the hive.
